Soak Up The Sun- Sheryl Crow Decomposition

Episode Summary

This week Katie and Brad decompose the 2002 hit song by Sheryl Crow "Soak Up The Sun."

Episode Notes

We start by recounting our vacation at Montreal Jazz Fest and discuss some of the excellent bands that we saw: Elise Legrow, The Suffers, Teke Teke, and how Brad is so white that he can go to Canada and get a sunburn.

Sheryl Crow has given us some great songs. "All I Wanna Do," "Every Day Is A Winding Road," "Leaving Las Vegas." And then there's this song. How is this about Owen Wilson? Neoliberal consumerism? What is the first line to "Everyday Is A Winding Road?" Does it involve a limousine repairman? Also, we debut a brand-new segment (maybe) called "What the Actual Fact?" and believe us, it's pretty fact up.
She could have retired at 17, but instead tries to drive a wedge into Katie and Brad's marriage.

You're better than this, Sheryl Crow
